Was it? Jesus’s message was about life, life in the now. He said, sell your possessions and follow me. He said trust in me, I will show you the way. Now. Not after death, now. Here is my example, now. Use it. That is what Jesus said. He even came back after death to show us that he was correct. It was a big deal. He gave them powers, showed them powers, taught them powers.
We have stopped using those powers. We have traded Heaven now for some future Bliss.
I promise, our future is taken care of. We need to take care of now. If you live for Christ now, you can be in Heaven now. If you are in Heaven now, then eternity is not a concern is it. Jesus’s message was not about what happens when you die.
